Young Leaders Programme

The scheme has been revised by our Youth Development Officer, Jo Gillett.
The programme is open to 13–17-year-olds and will run over 2 years with the Young Leader deciding in which order they take the online and practical modules. The Young Leader can opt to complete the course at their own pace.
There would be one introductory classroom session with an overview of the course plus Safeguarding Awareness with the Clubs Welfare Officer, Michelle Cooke. The online courses will be accessible via the Young Leaders website page. Jo Gillett will oversee and support the Young Leaders and coordinate the practical sessions.
Modules to complete include:
- Leadership Award
- Team Manager Award
- Team Manager Practical
- In2hockey Online EH Certificate
- Planning and delivering a practical session to our U8, U10' U12's.
- Introduction to Umpiring online EH Certificate
- Umpiring practical within a training match with our U8,U10's and U12's.
- Optional Online CPR and Defib course delivered by AED Donate.
Young Leaders have the option of purchasing the optional Young Leaders polo and hoodies at a cost of £42. The wearing of such kit would signify they are undertaking the Young Leaders Programme.
