Lucy Cornwall
Lucy had unfortunately been involved in a road accident and spent some time in hospital recovering. Once recovered physically, Lucy had to overcome getting back to the game of hockey, that she loves. Lucy carefully built up training time and gradually worked back too competitive hockey. This season Lucy has represented the club at U16’s, our Ladies 3 and 2’s, and has been selected to represent London South. What a come back! Well done Lucy.

Darcey Barrington
This young lady has been at Burnt Ash since small and loves her hockey. During Spring/Summer 2023 Darcey represented Bexley Borough in the qualifying round at the London Youth Games. Darcey then became unwell and like Lucy spent some time in hospital, and sadly was unable to play in the finals day in June 2023. Darcey is now back playing hockey after conquering such a difficult period and has shown great physical and mental strength and determination to get back to hockey. We congratulate Darcey and wish her well as she manages her recovery.
